Recommended Ages 4 - 7 years

The Twelve Days of Christmas, a classic holiday song, is now put into an extra fun picture book. Translating the lyrics into a unique perspective filled with delivery animals each bringing an important ingredient to help friends bake a Twelfth Night cake. The Royal Rabbit Delivery brings five golden rings of candied peeled oranges while on the sixth day feathery geese lay six tasty eggs. All the ingredients add up to make one delicious Christmas cake with a special tradition. In one slice of cake, there is a special bean that will declare the king or queen!

We loved this new release and will be adding it to our yearly holiday book rotation. The illustrations are bright and full of detail. Pleasant story to read several times through and have your child look at the images closely to see what they find. You can use the recipes at the end of the book to bake your own Christmas cupcake version of the Twelfth Night Cake!
