ARTECHOUSE NYC is hosting its inaugural Sensory Sensitivity Sessions on Saturday, September 16th. In alignment with ARTECHOUSE’s mission of providing “art for all,” they have worked to create a comfortable and judgment-free space that is welcoming for children and adults who have sensory sensitivities.
To create a sensory-friendly setting, the exhibition will be adjusted to facilitate an accessible experience, including the reduction of volume throughout the space, increased lighting, and a neutral space with lights on and seating for those who may need or would like to take a break. Upon booking, guests will also receive a resource guide walking them through the experience and provide additional information to prepare for their visit.
ARTECHOUSE NYC has reserved two time slots on Saturday, September 16th at 10:00 am and 10:30 am for this special experience. Guests can reserve tickets in advance HERE.
