You do not have to leave the city to give your kids a memorable summer adventure. Loews Regency New York Hotel on Park Avenue has launched Loews Little Legends: STEAM Explorers, a family-friendly program that turns a hotel stay into an interactive learning experience.

Perfect for a NYC staycation or for out-of-town guests visiting the city, young explorers receive a STEAM Explorer Kit filled with binoculars, a compass, magnifying glass, kaleidoscope, and an activity book packed with fun challenges to encourage discovery throughout their stay.

The experience extends beyond the hotel through Discovery Day activations, giving families even more opportunities to learn and explore. Guests can enjoy exclusive after-hours guided tours at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, limited to just 10 guests, offering a rare chance to experience one of the world's greatest museums without the usual crowds.

Families can also head to the nearby Society of Illustrators for its interactive Picture Book Spotlight series. On Saturday, August 29 (10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), children can meet Caldecott Award-winning author and illustrator Micha Archer during a special workshop celebrating her book Wind Watchers. Hotel guests receive 10% off Picture Book Spotlight tickets with the code Loews10, plus a complimentary sketch pencil and 10% off the museum gift shop by showing their hotel key card.

Available through Labor Day, the new program is a fun way to combine luxury, creativity, and hands-on learning into your next NYC getaway. Whether you are planning a weekend staycation or looking for a memorable hotel recommendation for visiting friends and family, this is an experience both kids and parents will enjoy.
