What can kids do at NYCC?

Family HQ is designed specifically for younger fans and their grown-ups, with kid-friendly programming, creative workshops, characters, stories, science, and hands-on activities. There is also Cosplay Central, where families can check out costumes, meet other fans, take photos, and see cosplay competitions and programming.

Beyond the family activities, the convention floor is packed with 400+ exhibitors and Artist Alley creators, where kids can discover comics, original art, toys, collectibles, games, and fandom merchandise. Gaming fans can head to Side Quest for video games, tabletop games, trading card games, and RPGs.

The 2026 lineup also includes major panels and appearances connected to Marvel, Naruto, Percy Jackson, Star Trek, SpongeBob, R.L. Stine, and more. The Crown Championships of Cosplay are another major highlight, with some seriously impressive costumes taking the stage.
