New Exhibit "Inside Art" at Children's Museum of Manhattan

Description

Get up close and personal as you assemble, create, peek into, crawl under, and walk through one of a kind sculptures and installations in this exhibit opening January 18, 2020.

Featuring the work of eleven contemporary artists, Inside Art will help you connect with art, space, and design in a whole new way. Explore larger-than-life art installations and giant sculptures by visual artists including Adrienne Elise Tarver, Borinquen Gallo, Carlos Jesus Martinez Dominguez, Damien Davis, Joiri Minaya, Julie Ann Nagle, Leah Tinari, Roberto Visani, Tamara Kostianovsky,  and Yeju & Chat.

• Art Studio Adventures: Cut, paint, build and create together as we construct collaborative projects and larger than life art installations. 10:00am – 1:00pm | All ages | Drop-in
• Gallery Crawl: Babies can join the fun as they interact with art through what they do best…crawling! 11 – 11:30am | 3 & younger | 1st Floor | Drop-in
• Fantastic Fort Building: Flex your architecture and design muscles as you create structures with rods, fabric, building discs and more. 12:30 – 1:30pm | All Ages | Drop-in
• Creation Station Exploration: Explore unusual materials and new media! Create sculptures from found objects and use technology in new ways. 2:00 – 5:00pm | All ages | Drop-in
